[LB Members] Update on Bill Connelly

Hi All,
 
I was in Monday to see Bill, they have started him  on a liquid diet.  He is 
to eat slowly and very small portions.  He  will have to eat more frequently, 
just smaller amounts. They are going to try a  soft diet on Tuesday and remove 
his IV.  It will be trial and error  for Bill to establish his new eating 
habits, but Bill is up to the  challenge.
 
While we were there his surgical doctor came in  with the pathology report.  
The news is good, it appears he is cancer  free.  The scar tissue showed the 
cancer to be dead as previously  stated.  A couple of the abnormal tumors in 
his stomach should a little  cancer, but since they removed his stomach they are 
no longer threat.  The  portion of his liver which they took, also should 
that the cancer was  dead.  The removed seventy Lymph Nodes, only four should 
small signs of  cancer, but again these were removed.
 
He will be getting out of the hospital on  Wednesday, and home to complete 
his surgical recovery.
