Hi to everybody- It was a great experience to see everybody (and then some) at the wake on Tuesday night. Pipes and then bugles and drums were a nice way to give Tony a musical assist up to play in the corps on the top deck. If nothing else, we woke up the neighborhood! Oh yeah!

I cannot be in Plymouth to play with the corps. Since my role as a membrane-o-phone player (aka Bass drummer) has come to an end and my pipes have become once again my favorite musical toy to annoy people with, I will be not quite as much in attendance as before.
The parade in Plymouth moves along quite fast and thus the opportunities to play my pipes are severely limited to the point of not even being worth it to do that parade.* Also, the placement of the corps in the order of appearance is a severe constraint on me being able to play. So, maybe next year we can work something out with the knuckleheads who run this show and then (hopefully) a better order of appearance will allow the pipes to be heard with the Light Brigade in Plymouth.
Dress warmly for the parade and then let 'er rip in the show!
